This is with my sincerest and deepest gratitude for the amazing support during my Trident adventure, and Honor Watch nonprofit Veteran support program (two-day scuba/helicopter jump experience!).
Since my diagnosis in December 2022, Life has taken a serious Curve with my limb onset of neuro muscular disease! Losing the ability to walk along with many other Physical abilities that most take for granted have serious challenged my mental and emotional capacity. With My faith, and family, anything is possible!
My daily struggle with everyday physical tasks takes a huge, emotional drain on not only myself, but my family.
With the grace of God, I was connected to Steve Kaplan, Trident Adventures through the Team Gleason foundation. Through these connections, my family and I were able to travel to Oahu and experience jumping out of helicopter and Scuba diving together as a family! A dream comes true!
It truly was an amazing and exhilarating Dream come true. I was blessed to lead a very active life prior to my diagnosis and continue to serve the families of the fallen through TAPS despite my limitations as a remarried Marine Corps widow.
I will continue to share our experience with others suffering from this horrible disease. There is life and recovery possibilities post diagnosis.
Thank you again for the amazing compassion and unbelievable courageous and patience to work with someone like me!!
As an Advanced Diver, these two days of diving and jumping from a helicopter taught me That everything is possible with the right tribe supporting you!!
My family and I thank Honor Watch, Trident Adventures, and Team Gleason!!

Living with ALS
Honor Watch Foundation offers dream of a lifetime adventures to veterans, first responders, and those facing trauma, loss, or terminal illness….a day of pure exhilaration that restores optimism, joy, and a zest for life when it's needed most. I can attest that my sister in law facing terminal ALS found this in the power of her adventure shared with her loved ones…. priceless delight, wonder, genuine elation and especially with her limited mobility a once in a lifetime chance to jump from a helicopter and scuba dive! She truly lived life to the fullest for just one more day. It transformed a sad time into a time of embracing life’s new challenges along with it’s simple pleasures. It made a lasting difference for her, helping her rediscover the beauty of the mountains and the sea she loved so much. She shared this exhilarating triumph with her family, loved ones and caregivers and the dauntless bravery she discovered carried with her. Restore hope and faith with an adventure of a lifetime by donating to Honor Watch Foundation, offering a beacon of promise in the darkest of times.
